"Mosaic of Songs"
The Vocal Consort is an award-winning semi-professional choir in Singapore, under the baton of acclaimed conductor, Mr Nelson Kwei. They will be presenting their upcoming concert in June, the "Mosaic of Songs" - a concert of diverse musical elements through time, space and imagination.

Their chamber mixed chorus will begin by tracing back to the early music with a Gregorian chant and bringing audience through a journey in time till 19th century. From a lively jazz adaptation of J S Bach to a fine display of Palestrina's signature polyphony music, as well as the sweet and delicate music of Mozart. Thereafter, their male chorus will present contemporary choral works from around the world, featuring music of Miklos Kocsar and Makiko Kinoshita.
